Cookie Policy

This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies French Prep (Hemnani Investment Advisory B.V., KvK 84467819) uses and how you can control them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set with your consent.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled and do not require consent.

Sign-in session (Supabase)

Keeps you logged in while you use the Platform.

Retention: Until you sign out

Cookie choice (frenchprep_consent)

Stores your preferences so the banner is not shown again.

Retention: 6 months

Language (frenchprep_lang)

Remembers the language you chose (French or English).

Retention: Until cleared

Visit identifiers (frenchprep_visitor_id, frenchprep_session)

Random identifiers used to apply the usage limits on free AI feedback and prevent abuse.

Retention: Visitor: until cleared; session: 30 minutes of inactivity

Visit source (frenchprep_attribution_first / _last)

Remembers the campaign or link that brought you here (UTM parameters, click identifier), attached to your account at signup and your order at checkout.

Retention: Until cleared

Practice and checkout in progress

Keeps the set in progress, its access token and a pending payment so you can resume after a reload.

Retention: Up to 30 days

3. Analytics

With your consent ("Analytics"), we record browsing events (page views, signup and checkout steps) in our own database, linked to the visit identifiers and source described above. Without your consent, none of these events are sent.

First-party usage analytics

Helps us understand how the Platform is used and improve it. No third-party analytics tools.

Retention: up to 12 months

4. Marketing cookies

With your consent ("Ads personalization") or when you create an account, we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Conversion events are sent through both the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, using the same event identifier for deduplication.

Tracks conversions (sign-ups, add to cart, checkout, purchases). For server-side measurement, we send a SHA-256 hash of your email address and account identifier together with available browser, IP, and page context. Data is transferred to the USA under Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention: up to 180 days on Meta's servers. See Meta's Privacy Policy.

5. Managing your preferences

  • On French Prep: at any time.
  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.
  • Meta opt-out: Manage Meta's use of your data at facebook.com/adpreferences or via the Your Online Choices tool.

Changing your choice affects future browser and server ad measurement.
